What we cover

Straightforward guidance, four ways

Across the coverage that matters most to you and your family — explained without the jargon.

Protect your family

Life insurance

Coverage built around what your family would actually need, not a number pulled from a chart. Term, whole life and final expense options.

Stay covered

Health insurance

Individual and family plans that fit your budget and your doctors, with help navigating enrolment windows and subsidies.

Navigate with confidence

Medicare

Clear guidance through your Medicare options, enrolment periods and deadlines — so you understand the choice you’re making.

Coming soon

Auto & home

Property and casualty coverage is on the way, so you can keep everything under one relationship you already trust.

How it works

Three steps, no pressure

We talk over coffee

In person or on a video call. I ask about your family, your budget, your health, and what you’re actually worried about. No forms first — just a conversation.

I bring you real options

I come back with a short list of plans that fit what you told me, side by side, with the trade-offs spelled out in plain English — including the option to keep what you already have.

You decide, and I stay

You pick in your own time. Then I’m still your point of contact — for claims, renewals, life changes, and the annual check to make sure your coverage still fits.

About

Hi, I’m Fallon.

Insurance runs in my family — I grew up watching my mom and aunt build careers around helping people protect what mattered to them. I moved from Connecticut to North Carolina to build SurCare from the ground up.

I built it the way I wish everyone experienced insurance: personal, honest, and never just a transaction. That means I’d rather tell you your current policy is fine than sell you a new one. It means I answer my own phone. And it means when something goes wrong, you call me, not a queue.

Outside of SurCare, my husband and I run My Brew Thang — a coffee-and-connection community we’re building one gathering at a time.

Out in the community

You’ll probably meet me before you need me

Most of my work happens out in the community rather than behind a desk — at educational seminars and community bingos where people can ask questions without a sales pitch attached.

These events are open to anyone. Attendance is free, nothing is required of you, and you never have to apply for or buy insurance to take part.

Community events

Show up and say hi

Local gatherings where you can put a face to the name long before you have a question about coverage.

Bingos

Yes, actual bingo

A genuinely fun afternoon out. Where there are prizes, they are of nominal value and everyone who attends is eligible — there is no obligation to enrol in anything.

Educational seminars

Learn before you decide

Small, practical sessions on Medicare basics, enrolment timing, and what life insurance actually does. Educational only — no specific plans are discussed or promoted.

Seminars & community events

What’s coming up

Educational seminars and community bingo across Gaston County and the greater Charlotte area. Free to attend, open to the public, no appointment needed.

SurCare does not hold sales or marketing events. Nothing is sold at any event listed here.

Dates coming soon

The next round of seminars and bingos is being scheduled. Send me the dates, venues and times and I’ll add them here as proper event cards.

Educational seminars

  • These are educational events only. They are held in public venues, are free to attend, and are open to anyone — there is no entrance fee and no registration requirement.
  • No specific insurance plans are promoted or compared. No plan premiums, benefits, costs or star ratings are presented.
  • No enrolment applications and no Scope of Appointment forms are distributed or collected, and no individual appointments are booked during the session.
  • Giving your contact details is entirely optional. Nothing is required of you to attend or to stay.

Community bingo

  • Bingo is a community event hosted by SurCare. It is social, not a seminar and not a sales presentation — nothing is sold and no insurance is presented.
  • Where there are prizes, they are of nominal value and are offered to everyone attending on the same terms, regardless of whether anyone enrols in or applies for anything. There is no obligation to enrol in any plan.
  • Attending does not sign you up for anything and does not obligate you to speak with an agent. If you would like a one-to-one conversation afterwards, you are welcome to arrange one on your own terms.

Common questions

Good things to ask

Does it cost anything to talk to you?

No. Consultations are always free and there’s no obligation to buy anything, ever. If meeting at a coffee shop is easiest for you, that works — I’m happy to meet wherever you’re comfortable.

I’m turning 65 soon — when should I start looking at Medicare?

Ideally two to three months before your Initial Enrolment Period begins, so we have time to compare options without a deadline crunch. If you’re already past that window, let’s talk anyway — there are still paths forward.

Do I have to meet in person?

Not at all. I’m based in Gastonia, NC, and I’ll meet in person anywhere within about 45 minutes — which covers much of the greater Charlotte area. Anywhere further, we’ll connect by video or phone, which works just as well.

What states are you licensed in?

North Carolina, South Carolina and Connecticut.

What if I already have a policy — can you still help?

Absolutely, and this is a lot of what I do. I’ll review your existing coverage to check it still fits your life. Sometimes the honest answer is that you’re in good shape and don’t need to change a thing.

Do you handle auto and home insurance?

Not yet — property and casualty is coming soon. In the meantime I’m happy to point you in a sensible direction.
